Join us to create a Lumen print, learn more about portraiture and discover how to use your phone to take better portraits.

In this workshop you'll be using photographic paper and light to produce a Lumen print, as well as delving into the role of a photographer with your phone camera through:

  • Using artificial light
  • Understanding light and reflectors
  • The lens
  • and more...

This workshop is FREE and booking is essential.  All materials are provided. Please meet in the Art + Design Gallery.

The session is part of our exhibition, Together – Portraits from the University of Hertfordshire Art Collection. You can view the exhibition before or after the workshop.

Parking is FREE for the first 2 hours on weekdays, with a £2 fee thereafter.  At the University of Hertfordshire, we use Hozah, which makes paying for parking quick, easy, and convenient. More information can be found here: Parking at UH

Accessible parking and toilets are available and the entrance to the Art + Design Gallery is at ground level.

The Café is open until 15:00 for delicious refreshments.
