The de Havilland Philharmonic Orchestra presents Bruch, Violin Concerto, with soloist Jonian Illias Kadesh and Mahler, Symphony No. 9.
Jonian joins the dHPO following a busy year where has made his debut with Scottish Chamber Orchestra at Tivoli Hall in Copenhagen, the RTE Concert Orchestra at the National Concert Hall in Dublin, the Royal Philharmonic, New Russian State Symphony (conducted by Yuri Bashmet), Albanian Radio and Coburg Philharmonic Orchestras. Jonian will perform one of the most popular violin concertos in the repertoire.
Mahler’s 9th Symphony is scored for a very large orchestra including 5 flutes, 4 oboes, 5 clarinets, 4 bassoons, full brass section, sizable percussion section, 2 harps and strings – a sound that will fill the Weston Auditorium!
